What shall we do with our jam today...?

 It has been suggested that we offer up some of our ideas for ways we like to use our jams and marmalades besides the obvious...toast, scones, spoon, well you get the idea...So we are going to start adding little recipes to inspire you.  If you have a favorite way you like to use our jams and marmalades, please shoot us an email and we will post your ideas too.  Check back often to see what's new...or check in at the blog, www.kitchenkapades.com

Some new ideas to try...

  • Make a spinach salad adding sliced strawberries, goat cheese, roasted pecans and dress with a simple vinaigrette - the twist - add a couple tablespoons of Strawberry Balsamic Jam to your vinaigrette - delicious!

  • Have you tried our Honey Meyer Lemon Marmalade in your tea?
  • A quick and easy appetizer that your friends will love - flatbread crackers topped with goat cheese and a dollop of Chili Orange Marmalade.
  • Slice a nice homemade short cake, fill with strawberries and whipped cream, top with Strawberry Liqueur Jam
  • Use Chili Apricot Jam as a marinade for barbeque pork
  • Toast some good sandwich bread, add a shmir of Bacon Marmalade, a slice of tomato, a slice of Swiss cheese and lettuce and you've got a great sandwich
  • Mix two TBLS.. Chili Orange Marmalade with one TBLS. olive oil and use as a marinade while grilling salmon
  • Try crisp crackers, monchego cheese and bacon marmalade...it's all you need in an appetizer...
