It all started with a belief that eating fruits and vegetables at the peak of their season was the all important ingredient to enjoying luscious produce. But being human, the desire for manderines in July or asparagus in November kept coming up. The answer...preserves!
At The Good Stuff we make all our preserves by hand and in very small batches. We use seasonal, locally grown, organic produce and never any commercial pectin. We purchase our jars from a local distributor and we have our labels printed by a small local letterpress company, Fineline Letterpress.
We believe in working with and promoting small businesses and keeping it local. We hope you enjoy your purchase and we look forward to being your preserved food source.
Each season The Good Stuff preserves several batches of scrumptious fruit exclusively for Harvest Sacramento utilizing volunteer labor and fruit gleaned from neighborhood yards. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of these exclusive batches benefit Soil Born Farms and are available at Soil Born Farms farmstand.
